How Do You Dress Green?

At the Green Ball the other night, guests had to ask themselves, “How do I dress green?”

The answer came to many of the guests in this form: borrow. After all, borrowing is reusing. They could have bought an organic cotton dress, or bought a dress made from recycled materials. I’m partial to no one wearing leather, but I doubt that happened. As for me, I would say about 40% of my clothes have come from antique stores, consignment shops, church sales – you get the idea. I buy up stuff that others don’t want. My mom is the same way. She’s got Dior coats, Tahari tops and so much more, just from buying used. I’ll tell ya, the price is nice too.

So here is my question to you: What do you do to make your wardrobe more eco/animal friendly?
