Summer Ants – Tell Them To Stay Outside (Nicely)
This is the time of year that ants start to appear in our homes. And as much as I like insects, I’m never happy to see them in my house. Usually when an insect makes it’s way into my house, I take a piece of paper and a cup and then I catch the little creature and put it outside. That works with insects that don’t show up by the dozens. It doesn’t quite work with ants. But I don’t believe in killing them. So what’s a girl to do if she cares about all creatures big and small?
Use a humane method that’s cheap and easy. Ants hate the smell of cinnamon. And I mean HATE. So sprinkle some cinnamon where the ants are entering your home or wherever you see them congregating, and those ants will hightail it out of there. This won’t hurt the ants and you’re kitchen will smell nice:) A perfect solution!
