Let’s face it. The vegan and eco movements cater to women. The best shops have heels, purses, boots and coats, all beautiful and made for the ladies. But the men have been a bit neglected. Most of the vegan shoe companies don’t even make a men’s line. Or if they do, it’s one or two styles.

The vegan world needed a man to come forward to consolidate and sell all the stylish (read: not made from hemp twine) products available for men. And such a man has done that. Dan Mims. He recently went live with his new online shop: The Ethical Man.

Not only does The Ethical Man carry jackets, ties, wallets, belts, etc. He also offers tips on fashion, grooming and anything else the modern ethical man might need to know about. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dan Mims so I can vouch for his good fashion sense. In fact, I wrote to him not too long after the Veg Expo in Albany to ask about a beautiful cardigan he had been wearing and where I might find one for my husband. Of course, he gave me the lowdown on where to find the best vegan cardigans at various price points. He knows what’s out there. He knows what looks good on men and he’s sharing his knowledge with others.

We ladies have had the opportunity to be ethical and sexy for quite some time now. The men now have their champion. So, whether you’re a guy looking to improve your wardrobe, an already stylish guy just looking to buy some ethical items, or a gal desperate to dress your guy in something other than hooded sweat shirts, The Ethical Man is where you need to be.
